Iowa’s Premier Crop Production Education Event

The Iowa State University Integrated Crop Management Conference is Iowa’s premier crop production education event.

  • No other program in Iowa brings together the diverse range of topics, slate of expert presenters and results of the latest University research. Drawing nearly 1,000 of the top crop production professionals from across Iowa and the midwest together for two days to learn, listen and share this is an event you won’t want to miss.

  • The ICM Conference offers workshops focusing on the latest in crop production technology.

  • Experts from Iowa and surrounding states will provide research updates and results in soil fertility, soil and water management, crop production and pest management.

  • Lastly, attendees can choose from up to 6 topics each hour. This format allows you to customize your conference experience to meet your interests.

Making smart decisions

Difficult growing conditions, tight margins and weak commodity prices made 2017 a challenging year for Iowa crop production. Making smart, informed decisions based on the latest research and developing technology takes on greater importance for the success of the farming operation.

Continuing Education

Iowa Certified Crop Advisers can obtain up to 14 hours of continuing education credit. Credit categories will depend on workshop selection. Get those last few credits you need before the end of the year.

Iowa commercial pesticide applicators in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, 4 and 10 can also receive re-certification for calendar year 2018. Please note, additional registration fee applies.

Registration

Review the conference program and choose the workshops you are attending. This information is required to complete registration – both online and mail. It is helpful to print the Conference Program that contains the schedule grid and topic descriptions.

As the conference fills some workshops will reach capacity. Every effort is made to get attendees into workshops they request. View the updates below before making your selections. Furthermore, we will make an alternate selection for you if you request a full workshop.
